摘要

Learning requires appropriate management of time and resources. Consequently, self-regulated learning (SRL) becomes predominant and apparent. Another type of learning is the nearest neighbour learning (NNL) which is a form of collaborative learning method where ICT is present. Although the ICT usage both in SRL and NNL helps improving collaboration and access to vast amounts of information, it is essential that researchers, learners, and educators, should, critically consider the ethical issues that accompany it. In both methods the phenomenon of plagiarism may be present, so students have to be leaded to have an approach to critical evaluation, plagiarism and information ownership (CLEX, 2009). Ethical safeguards should be incorporated in the assessment of self regulated learning and nearest neighbor learning work, since this work is carried out through collaboration among team members. Also, ethical issues concerning plagiarism and copying other teams' work should be explained from the beginning of educational procedure.
