Gain Equalized Four Mode Groups Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier with LP_(01) Pump

Using an erbium doped fiber with the optimized doping profile, we experimentally demonstrate an EDFA, which supports four mode groups. The measured differential modal gain is about 1dB.
