Photoinduced absorption with ultrafast decay constants in a large single crystal of BiFeO3

Using near-infrared pump probe technique, we demonstrate ultrafast photoinduced absorption with a decay constant as short as 100 fs in a large single crystal of bismuth ferrite with high quality grown by floating zone method.
