In this paper, we describe the design and the prototype of our emotion-driven lifelogging system with wearable devices. Our system integrates the EEG sensors from a headband with a Google glass. The camera and microphone of the Google glass serve as the major media to capture the daily life moments, which can be recorded in form of the image, audio clip, video, etc. EEG sensors contact to the user's scalp and measure the electrical signals from the brain activities. We leverage the knowledge from the brain-computer-interface (BCI) domain to analyze the EEG signals to identity the user emotion and automatically launch lifelogging based on that. Our system determines the most appropriate method to perform lifelogging guided via an optimization framework for balancing the device energy profile and the logging quality. Our system is also able to extract the user's emotion and provide an emotional tag for each log.
