摘要

This paper describes a method to effectively manage the status of a large amount of fittings in shipbuilding. In regard to building of ship that requires vast fittings, it is important to comprehend the status accurately and timely of fittings in order to promote the construction without causing delay. Therefore we have developed a system that can manage the status of the fittings in an intuitive way. The data layer of the system consists of BOM of fittings stored in relational database management system, and 3D Model generated from 3D CAD data. We made it possible to access data in the BOM via 3D model by linking both data. Moreover, the system can be operated in a ship under construction, since it can bring out the data from our intranet. As a result, progress of the ship outfitting was centralized in the database.
