Actinide and lanthanide extraction by new solvent -0.2 M phenyloctyl-N,N-diisobutylcarbamoylphosphine oxide (CMPO) + 30% TBP + formal of octafluoro-pentanol was studied. Dynamic test with this solvent was carried. It was shown that americium and lanthanides are effectively extracted from PUREX process raffinate. Separation of americium from light lanthanides was confirmed in the modified SETFICS flowsheet with new solvent.
