Uncertainty in Waveguide Vector Network Analyzer Measurements in the Frequency Range of D-band (110 GHz to 170 GHz)

We have evaluated the measurement uncertainty for rectangular waveguide Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements in the frequency range of D-band, 110GHz-170GHz. We developed a new waveguide flange design for precise connections and dimensional measurements to establish traceability to the SI for standard line as a calibration standard in VNA measurements. As the result of evaluation for VNA and its standard, we estimated VNA measurement uncertainty in the D-band.
