BUILDING A HUMAN CAPABILITY DECISION ENGINE

摘要

This paper presents an overview of the work currently being carried out for Dstl that produced a "model of models" to compare the accuracy and completeness of decisions being made in relation to the introduction of technological or systematic interventions. The work described here formed only a small part of an overall programme looking at the assessment of mission effectiveness. This work involved a review of the current state of knowledge of the human component of decision-making to identify causal links between elements and culminated in the development of an integrated conceptual model. This conceptual model is currently being further developed into a mathematical representation of the identified components of the decision-making process.
