摘要

A miniaturized Vivaldi is presented in this paper. A novel size-reduced balun is adopted; resistors are loaded at the end of radiation structure; additional comb slots are used at the edge of the antenna. The dimension of the proposed antenna is 68.5mm (height)×74mm (width)×0.508mm (thickness). The simulation shows that the bandwidth covers the band from 0.8GHz to 18GHz (return loss<-10dB), while the realized gain varies from -3.4dBi to 8dBi. Therefore, the proposed compact antenna can be applied to the size-restricted platforms.
