This article is devoted to the development of an algorithm for processing underwater acoustic phase-shift keyed pseudo noise signals with Doppler effect compensation. An important criterion in the development was to reduce the computational complexity, since it is supposed to be used in autonomous underwater vehicles and systems. Within the framework of the study a review of the methods for Doppler frequency shift compensation was carried out. An algorithm was developed on the basis of one of the traditional methods for solving this problem. A mathematical modeling was conducted using a probabilistic model of a signal at the receiver input, taking into account the noise and multipath propagation characteristics. During the modeling the developed algorithm has shown good efficiency: noise immunity is less in comparison with the base method up to 2 dB. It was possible to achieve a significant reduction in computational complexity.
