NanoSpray Combustion is a versatile process for producing nanosized Lithium-metal oxide cathodes for Li-ion batteries. Complex stoichiometries (LTO, High voltage cathodes & composites) are feasible and scalable. Low-cost precursor systems have been developed with strategic raw materials suppliers. Production rates of >10 kg/day have been established - 100 kg/day scale-up underway. Investigation of surface-coated (carbon or metal oxide/phosphate) nanopowders ongoing.
