The Strategies of the Sustainable Development of Livestock Husbandry under the Background of Low- carbon Economy

'Low-carbon economy' is a kind of green economy that is low energy consumption, low pollution and low emission. It is an unavoidable path for the sustainable development of livestock husbandry. This paper analyzed livestock husbandry's impacts on environment, basing on the meaning of developing lowcarbon livestock husbandry. The announcement of lowcarbon should be strengthened to achieve the improvement of policy protection system, the transformation of production measures and the promotion of ecological breeding mode. And the paper finally advocated the new green breeding technology and enhances the innovative ability in livestock husbandry.
