Based on the generalized Rayleigh-Sommerfeld diffraction integrals, the analytical expression for the 3×3 cross-spectral density matrix of nonparaxial Gaussian-Schell model electromagnetic beams propagating through a rectangle aperture is derived and used to formulate the spectral density and spectral degree of polarization of electromagnetic beams at the z plane. The effect of parameters f, f_σ and truncation parameter 8 on the spectral density and spectral degree of polarization of electromagnetic beams are stressed. The results are illustrated by numerical examples.
