Intelligent Vehicle is a kind of new high-tech vehicle that has function of the autopilot, automatic variable speed and automatic identification of roads .Path recognition module is eye of intelligent car, which is related to the control performance directly. In the background of 'Freescale' Cup National Contest about Smart Car of College Students, according to rules of the game, this paper analyzes the path recognition scheme on the basis of sensor hardware design. This article mainly introduces method of recognizing path accurately based on photoelectric sensors. Experimental results show that the system meets the need of path recognition and antiinterfere, and has high degree of accuracy and perfect robustness.
