While as recently as last year resistive touch sensors were the largest touch sensor segment byvolume, projected capacitive touch has supplanted resistive touch as the market leading application.Projected capacitive sensing has many advantages; however, these advantages come with new performancedemands on the conductive films used and on the producers of these conductive films. Among theserequirements are: high light transmission, low transmitted color and low contrast between the conductivesensing circuit and the non-conductive areas. We will present a patented, precision wet coated, indexmatched film that facilitates the production of these high performance conductive films currently in highdemand by the market.
