A combating mode that utilizes stratospheric airships as the jammer carrier and suppresses and obstructs the GPS receivers is studied. The relationship among the jammer height, transmitted power and the effective interference range is derived at the condition of the suppressible jamming mode. Some typical design models about the stratospheric airship helium-filled volume, suffered-static lift, atmospheric drag, propulsion system quality, solar panel energy and the height risking value are studied. On the basis of this research, the maximum combat performance, the best economical effect and the least attacking risk are taken as the target, and the optimization object function is established. Then some main parameters about slenderness ratio, airship length and cruising height are optimized. Through some simulations, the relationship between the main optimization parameters and the effect of optimization target is given.
