Composite aircraft skins can sustain multiple forms of damage. Out-of-autoclave (OoA)prepregs may be viable candidates for use in structural repairs of damaged compositelaminates. A Composite Repair Development Program demonstrated repair capability forlarge damage on primary composite structural skins on a fielded aircraft. These repairmethods were reproduced using OoA materials and processes. This report comparesconventional structural repair methods and processes to similar OoA repairs usingvacuum bag and oven cure only material and processing.
