A high-speed data acquisition system for the ultrasonic test is presented in this chapter. In order to overcome the shortages that were limited by data storage capacity and MCU running speed, the structure scheme of the ultrasonic testing system based on the MCU and CPLD is designed as shown in Fig. 175.1. In sequence, the MCU control module and data acquisition module are focused to be discussed in detail. This ultrasonic high-speed data acquisition system has some advantages such as high efficiency, reliability, and lower power consumption.
