To be prepared for medical imaging System's future developments,such as enabling support of rapid innovation transfer and bringing web-based and more devices together,operating system independent should be considered during the software architecture design processing. This ppper presents the architecture of ultrasound imaging software system,which base on Object Oriented SW architecture and the user interfaces are designed to be operating system independent.
