Construction and Query of Chinese Computer Technology Domain Ontology

摘要

Ontology plays a key role in web information sharing and exchange at semantic level. With the research of semantic-based application, the need of domain ontology is increasing. However, traditional ontology modeling methods have several shortages such as limited concept source and division between ontology designing and its application,which may lead to unstable quality of ontology. Based on current theories and techniques, this paper makes some improvements in traditional ontology modeling method: On one hand,comprehending keywords in academic documents, thesaurus and related concepts adopted by popular knowledge bases could ensure the quality of concepts;On the other hand, taking fully consideration of application requirements before ontology design could avoid the obstruction of minutia to some extent. Finally,it designs and semi-automatically builds a Chinese computer technology domain ontology, then carries out related query experiments to test the ontology and prepare for further information retrieve.
