The paper presented a simulation system for underwater acoustic communication based on the Frequency Hopping Multilevel Frequency Shift Keying (FH-MFSK) with MATLAB. The experiment of indoor's pool had been carried out by comparing the performance of the bit rate in various experiment environments, such as different modulation types and different channels. Consequently, the efficient of our FH-MFSK system could be improved by adjusting its modulation types according to the channel's characteristic so as to maintain the balance between the bit rate and the BER(bit error ratio).
