An Analysis on the Methodologies of Taiwan's Public Policy Evaluation Researches

In the beginning of evaluation research, there was research. And the methods of social science research dominated the conduct of evaluation studies. However, the theories and methods of evaluation research changed as the several decades went by, or more accurately, they have been expanded and diversified. Therefore, this proposed study is to assess the merit and worth of the methods of the public policy evaluation research held by Taiwanese experts, based on the documentation analysis of their doctoral and master's dissertations and journal articles which subjects were all on public policy evaluation;finally, based on the outcomes of focus group reviewing to present the research conclusions and recommendations.
