Using data collected from the knowledge workers in manufacturing enterprises, the present study aimed to confirm the three components model of organizational commitment and explore the multiplicative interaction effects of the three commitment components on turnover intentions (TI). Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that affective commitment (AC), normative commitment (NC) and continuance commitment (CC) had the negative effects on TI significantly. Furthermore, NC was a significant positive moderator between AC and TI. The higher the employee's NC, the stronger the relationship between AC and TI.
