An image blind equalization algorithm based on dimension reduction was proposed. The degradation and restoration process of CT image transformed by a simple linear operation is equivalent to one dimensional signal convolution. The constant modulus blind equalization cost function applied to medical CT image was founded. In order to improve the effect of image restoration, a constraint item was introduced to restrict the cost function, and it avoided the algorithm converge to the all zero solution. Computer simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm. Compared to the traditional methods, new algorithm improves peak signal to noise ratio and restoration effects. Iterative process avoids matrix inversion and improves the efficiency of operations.
