Introducing the traditional folk-custom color cultural expressions to the industrial design, both solves the issue of the traditional culture always lacked in the domestic universities design-education contents, and explores to solve the problem of the national culture elements been lacked when we creates the national brands on the social innovative designs. The article firstly summarizes the forms of the Chinese traditional folk-custom color culture expressions. Second, elaborates the subsystem of the traditional folk-custom color culture expressions, under the traditional Chinese culture, to carry on its knowledge management. Finally, discuss the problems of the practical application of traditional folk-custom color cultural representations in the university design-education and social innovative designs.
