Effects of gender and exercise training on static postural balance of college students: A quantitative comparison analysis

Using the Tetrax test instrument, respectively, we have tested the static balance ability of aerobics group and as a special reference general group in order to explore gender and exercise training on static balance ability of young people. By detecting the indicators, that is A%, B%, C%, D%, WDI and LEFT of eight position (NO, NC, PO, PC, HR, HL, HB, HF), found that the influence of gender for aerobics exercisers is mainly in body weight distribution. Compared with male, the weight distribution of female indulges in the heel, while the male indulge in toe. Secondly, the visual, vestibular, and somato-sensory sense of female, to some extent, better than male. But the central integration and muscle strength of male are better than female, therefore, the physical coordination of male better than female in the standard position. Again, the indicators between the general group and aerobics group of male and female in NO were not significantly different, therefore, when there is no special requirements on the balance, gender may not do too much to consider, but if a certain feeling is required particularly, gender should be considered. Finally, after training, some balance indicators will be enlarged between male and female.
