To improve a capillary electrophoresis method used for the rapid and simultaneous separation and determination of rutin, chlorogenic acid and quercetin. The capillary column without coating (50μm×56cm, the used length: 47.5cm) was used, the solution of 12mM sodium tetraborate pentahydrate (pH 9.0) containing 15% methanol was taken as the running buffer and the temperature was 25 _. The linear relationship, recover rate and repeatability of rutin, chlorogenic acid and quercetin were better when they were detected at wave length 350nm. The method we used should be accurate and suitable for the quality control of mulberry folium leaf which is a crude drug.
