The experiment was done at Qingdao agricultural university from 2008 to 2009. The varieties were Handao502 and Shengdao13. The effect of different concentration Stevioside glycosides blending liquid (SBL) on the yield and quality were studied. The best concentration and method of SBL were discussed. The result of the experiment showed: the appropriate spraying concentrations of SBL on upland and irrigated rice can enhance the grain per ear and the percentage of grain filling and then improve the grain yield up to13.8% in upland rice and 9.4% in irrigated rice, decrease the amylase content of upland rice and irrigated rice, and reduce the gelatinization temperature, and improve the crude protein content of brown rice and the nutritional quality of rice, thus enhance the cooking and eating quality rice. It can improve the quality of appearance because the chalky rice rate and chalkiness degree decreased. Thus, appropriate spraying concentrations of SBL can improve the economic quality of rice and increase the economic benefit of the farmer.
