Indoor air pollution is causing increasing widespread attention in university now. The main source of indoor air pollutants in university was analyzed. Students' cognition of indoor air pollution and its health hazards were studied, in order to improve students' awareness of prevention and provide the basis for development of protective measures. Let 1498 students write self-administered questionnaire in university in Shenyang. The results show that: 92.5% of students know the indoor air pollution and understand the common indoor pollutants in a certain, but no sufficient attention to indoor air pollution. It is only 44.8% of the students who know must take steps to control indoor air pollution now. It is 68.2% of students who think of the best method to tackle indoor air pollution is ventilation. Finally, a few suggestions are proposed on prevention and control of indoor air pollution in university.
