According to the philosophy of Safety Management Systems (SMS), the trainers ofprofessionals into the area of Aviation should develop and maintain a training programthat offers and guarantees to the professional to develop the skills needed to performtheir functions of security management, appropriate to the responsibilities coming fromthe nature of their work. The objective of this study is to show that before working ingroups, individuals need to have developed their interpersonal skills and, in particular, aperson's ability to communicate with others, to listen to them, influence them, and soon. It is for this very reason that it becomes imperative to implement a Social SkillsTraining (SST) in Aviation courses, training in which the individual ability appear asthe main focus for the development of social relational skills. The professionals trainedin social skills, are more likely to identify threats and risks caused by the demands ofinterpersonal situations, acting assertively, applying effective action rather than reactingto them. As a contribution of this paper, we elected a purposeful set of policies,procedures and practices for education and training of future professionals who willwork in all areas that may impact the Aviation safety, so that these professionals knowto express feelings attitudes, desires, opinions or rights adequate to that situation,respecting others and solving the immediate problems of the situation while minimizingthe likelihood of future problems. The method utilized involves a qualitative approach.
