In this study a Rigid Water Column (RWC) theory was applied for propagation of contaminant intruded into a Water Distribution System (WDS). Fuzzy set theory was employed to study uncertainties associated with the base demand and contaminant concentration. The results were shown as a variation of low, most likely, and high values of concentration with time at each node of the system. The proposed results can be used to determine the maximum and minimum amount of contaminant concentration propagated in the WDS at any time and nodes, and help estimating dynamic risk associated with the contaminant intrusion during the occurrence of low pressure.
