Proper air conditioning is helpful in prevention and treatment of diseases. The aim of this paper is to investigate the conventional vertical airflow in a surgical operating room using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation method. The numerical simulation is an efficient tool in optimum ventilation and architectural design of surgical operating rooms.
