CONSIDERATIONS ON BIOMATERIALS AND THEIR USE IN MEDICINE

摘要

The paper intends to present some general features of the biomaterials used in medicine for various types of medical implants in the human body. These types of materials have very interesting mechanical properties which will be specially investigated. As a main tool we shall use in this aim, the computational simulation will be one of the most important. We shall also propose a comparative study among the most spread and used biomaterials, biochips or as scaffolds in the tissue engineering.
