The identification method of airport runway diseases using GPR presented in this paper has two steps. First, Hough transform is introduced to classify the two kinds of GPR Bscan images. In this method, the crack images are focused on one point after being transformed to parametric space. The hyperbolic equation with a time-delay factor is introduced in void images, in order to locate the position of the hyperbolic vertex accurately. Then a curve fitting method is used to identify the void type. The simulation results demonstrate that the method has advantages of small calculation quantity, fast-speed and high-accuracy. It is good at real-time predicting tracking.
