INHIBITOR PROTECTION OF OIL-PROCESSING PLANTS' UNITS FROM CORROSION

Chlorides and sulphuric substances containing oil, which is refined at a primary treatment process, leads to corrosion of equipment, condensers and refrigerators. Corrosion destruction of equipment of primary oil distillation units is one of the basic obstacles in a way of prolonging of maintenance of these units. The operational experience of industrial units shows that practically an effective method of corrosion prevent of equipment 3J1OY-ABT-6 (atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit) at Baku Oil Refining factory is application of a chemical reagents package - demulsifies, neutralizers, biocide-inhibitors. The mixture various oils is usually processed at Oil Refinery factory. It is important to notice that oil of deposits of Azerbaijan oilfields differ with the high content of petroleum acids causing specific corrosion. Applying of organic amines corrosion protection of a condensation-cooling vessel of Oil Refinery Units eliminates the known problems connected with injection of ammonia into system. These problems are regulation pH of medium, formation of solid deposition and occurrence of the corrosion centres under them. Oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors, received on the basis of organic amines, were injected into system during a month at a dosage of oil of 3 ppm. If before applying of inhibitor in the system the total Iron ions (Fe~+2+ Fe~+3) was 120-240 ppm, after treating of system inhibitor the Iron ions has decreased to 0.2 ppm. It is necessary to notice that during injection of inhibitor at the Oy-ABT-6 unit it was not observed technological complication caused by corrosion. As a result of the conducted analyses also it has been established that applied oil-soluble inhibitor does not influence on quality of processed gasoline.
