Temporary protection against corrosion closed cavities in steel constructions and internal spaces of steam power and refinery plants by vapour phase corrosion inhibitors

Vapour phase corrosion inhibitors (VCI's) could be used for protection against corrosion in many types of technical objects as internal spaces of steam and water power and refinery plants as well as closed cavities of steel constructions (bridges, ships, pylons etc.). VCI's have many advantages behind the traditional methods of corrosion controls of mentioned objects. The operation with VCI's is easy because doesn't practically need prearranging actions, cuts out organic solvents emission to the atmosphere, as soon as eliminate the traditional anticorrosion materials and, finally, could be applied when traditional technologies are not possible to use from technical point of view. In many cases VCI's offers the only effective practical solution.
