摘要

In this study, CNTs were synthesized on the surface of C/C composites by thermal CVD method. The coefficient of mutual friction between two flat specimens of the modified and unmodified C/C composites was measured at constant number of revolutions under constant applied pressure on the disc-type test. Effect of CNTs synthesization on the coefficient of mutual coefficient and its dependence on test temperature were discussed. The coefficient was high and also stable on the change of test temperature when the CNTs were synthesized on the surface. The morphology evaluation of factional surface after the test suggested that the synthesization of CNTs on the frictional surface of C/C composite was effective to change the wear mode for stable of the coefficient of friction according to the change environmental temperature.
