MODELLING AND SIMULATION OF TRAIN POSITIONING WITHIN THE RAILWAY NETWORK

摘要

The article contributes to localization of rolling stock within railway network. The main attention is paid to the description of the existing systems, especially in terms of GNSS utilization. The article also focuses on the design of a railway network model, its visualization and rolling stock location within the model, taking in consideration the railway network infrastructure. In addition, computer simulation was utilized for testing occurrences of collision situations on the network.
