Automated Material Tracking via RFID Technologies

摘要

In the past traditionally RFID technology had specific and limited use, (i.e. distribution pallet level tracking). However with the emergence of new RFID technologies, RFID applications are becoming extremely diversified. The ability to combine Active and Passive RFID in the way presented in this paper offers manufacturing and processing facilities the ability to achieve useful and meaningful material tracking applications.
