摘要

A chromosome representation framework based on an ancient game, Tracing a Ghost's Illusive Footprints (TGIF), is proposed for solving search problems that involve permutation or general ordering and mapping. The initial concept was tested on a permutation problem and a variant of the concept was applied successfully to solve deceptive problems for Genetic Algorithms (GAs).
