Generally speaking, the slowly-happening and short distance transport of hazard materials in the atmosphere can be simulated very well with a dispersion model based on the computer technology. However, when a sudden-happening disaster, such as the Chernobyl disaster, had occurred, all the existed dispersion models in the world didn't work well for it. In this paper, we show the recent progress on this field.
