Study on interactive education of subject-based English

摘要

Various subject-based English (SBE) teaching methods are presented in this paper. Appropriate teaching methods for different teaching materials and situations help to improve learners' interest and efficiency. SBE teaching needs an interactive education model. The interactive education model is a challenge to the teachers' leading position in the education. Teachers' function transits to organizer and advisor instead of authority. SBE teaching focus not on pouring knowledge to students but to cultivate student's ability to further study, solving problem independently, communication, collaboration, personality. These abilities are required to be successful in career.
