The local optical absorption character of quasi continuous plant tissue that has turbid material character is studied by experimental method. Potato tissue is the object of study. Discovery by experiment: to the Potato thin chips whose thickness is 1.165mm, in the same laser light irradiation, transmission photovoltage at several points near the reference point is very different, which is due to the difference of the absorbance of liquid component at different point; while at the same point transmission photovoltage in different directions has even great difference, which is due to the difference of the scattering to light along different directions of tissue component; by calculate, several points near the reference point the transmissivity in incidence direction does not exceed 6.28%,so it reflects the strong absorption of tissue to incident light; The transmissivity along vertical incidence direction is all greater than 75.55%, very greater than the transmissivity along incidence direction, which is due to multiple scattering of light in plant tissues.
