摘要

This paper presents a device for evaluating vehicle Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) performance using the principle that the object's kinetic energy can be expressed by the inertia moment. The device is a roller inertia braking test bench which can simulate the condition of braking of vehicle on road. in the bench, the velocity of vehicle is measured by the driving rollers of the bench. Velocities of four wheels are measured by the four support rollers. The paper presents the mathematical model for testing ABS according to the equivalents of inertia, air resistance, transmission efficient and rolling resistance between the test bench and the vehicle.
