This paper present a new concept of hybrid fiber reinforced spray concrete, based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of single-doped fiber, includrg steel fiber (SF) and polypropylene fiber (PPF)spray concrete, and the research and application of fiber reinforced spray concrete in domestic and international. The new method of hybrid fiber reinforced spray concrete that included steel fiber and low-elastic polypropylene fiber (PPF) has been brought forth, which would improve spray concrete's cracking resistance, tensile strength, ductility and other physical and mechanical properties. According to binary or ternary hybrid fiber reinforced concrete jet feasibility pitch-based fibers theory, both cost effectiveness and performance should be taking into account, SF and PPF could add to the spray concrete by considerable mix design and orthogonal design.In order to develop the method of hybrid fiber reinforced spray concrete rapidly and make wid use of the hybrid fiber reinforced spray concrete in reparation and reinforcement engineering, spray technology and construction process should be developed as well as quality control measures and construction cost control.
