PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene fiber for reinforcing cement which is capable of giving hydrophilicity to a polyolefin resin fiber, excellent in dispersibility in cement, excellent in physical bonding with cement and capable of improving bending toughness of a cement molding.;SOLUTION: A composition contains a complex structure graft copolymer of 1-10pts.wt. consisting of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer segment of 50-90wt.% and a vinyl-base polymer segment of 50-10wt.% to polypropylene of 100pts.wt. After the composition is spun, the polypropylene fiber for reinforcing cement is produced by cutting a monofilament, whose surface is worked with projection and recessed parts and whose single yarn fineness is 200dt or higher, to fiber length of 5mm or more.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
