Job satisfaction will influence the behaviors of staff directly or indirectly, which will eventually influence the perception of customers to the service quality of the hotel. This research explores the determinants that might influence the job satisfaction of Chinese hotel staff, and measures the importance of each determinant to the job satisfaction and turnover intention of Chinese hotel staff. This research will provide a better way to understand the Chinese hospitality industry, reveal the various needs of Chinese hotel staff, give suggestions to hotel managers, and also contribute to the existing body of knowledge in an attempt to understand job satisfaction in different economic and cultural settings.
