The applying of Lithium ion battery for high power application such as HEV and Power Tool is expected to grow in near future. The optimization of anode for this application is promoted. The modification of Graphite surface by amorphous carbon has good effects for improvement in several performances such as power output and life. The relation between character of material (kinds of core, average particle size, contents of amorphous, and modification procedure) and electrochemical performance (charge-discharge capacity, Direct current resistance (DCR) and cycle life were investigated.
