摘要

In situ activation of carbon deposits formed during dry methane reforming on activated carbon-supported Ni-Ca catalyst was studied. A remarkably increase in surface area from 231 up to 2405m~2/g after 90min reaction time was found. This fact was associated with stability of catalyst. In conclusion, results showed that activated carbon can be employed as support for dry methane reforming yielding representative methane conversions at mild conditions of reaction.
