N. F. GERASYUTA AND HIS SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SCHOOL

Dnipropetrovsk, as well as Teheran, Yalta, Potsdam, can become a symbol of the world order, and symbol of solving tasks, which secure Teheran, Yalta and Potsdam agreements, at the highest scientific and technical level. It is characteristic that such appraisal of contribution made by Dnipropetrovsk missile developers into the world order on our planet is given both in various speeches of statespersons, and in the opinions of journalists and frontline workers of the Dnipropetrovsk rocket-and-space center.New rocket-building topics at the Dnipropetrovsk State University gave an incentive to spreading of investigations on various directions. Exactly at that time, starting with the middle of fifties of the past century, new scientific schools began to emerge at the University. This paper is devoted to the history of origination and development of N.F. Gerasyuta scientific school, i.e. school of ballistics, dynamics of flight, and rocket control.
